I need a vacation (from you)

So if anyone’s been checking the blog regularly recently, they’d probably notice most of my spam’s been of Hanna Is Not A Boy’s Name fanarts, and of Doc Worth in particular. i think it’s fair to say that a significant part of why i immediately liked the character was because he reminded me of this fellow on the left.

Haize, created and drawn by the ever amazing Samee, Cae by me and mine.

On a totally random note, i finally have air con again at home *___* Life is good.

Welcome back, Mae! <3

Today’s post is another exceedingly messy speedpaint done in SAI. Most of the characters featured belong to the lovely and inspiring Samee; the only ones that are mine are the brown-haired, ponytailed one, and the shadowy figure on the left of the picture, in the background.

Rough mess that it is, there’s actually quite a lot of symbolism related to the characters and their relationships to each other, in the composition of the pic and the poses–that was the main aim of the image. An explanation would be filled with spoilers though, so you’ll have to take my word on this XD;

Fanart of Heine Rammsteiner (left) and Nill of Dogs: Bullets & Carnage. The story is rather typical stuff (dystopian world, shady organisation(s)/individuals, lots of fights, character angst), but the art is nice, and it’s amusing at times and the relationship between Heine and Nill is sweet. He’s a sociopathic trained killing-machine with major gynophobia, and she’s a mute genetic experiment he saved from being forced into prostitution; she’s the only female who can touch him without causing him a mental breakdown. They’re each other’s second chance, in a sense.

As usual, all doodles done in OpenCanvas, some with tweaking in Photoshop.

Still sketching slow as a turtle on flu-meds. Today’s sketch done in OpenCanvas as usual. Cae again, though from a different story; this Cae is female, and does not unintentionally poison anyone she cooks for. She also wears dresses willingly.
