More train sketches in my moleskine… nothing like a shakey train and I can never remember which side of the pencil lead is the sharper one. Mmmm. I don’t know how artists do it. Also, I’ve forgotten I’ve put 4B into my favourite mechanical pencil so it comes off as being really soft and smudgey if I’m not too careful.
As usual, being on the train makes it hard to draw with references. Sydney trains aren’t exactly known for being lifedrawing friendly either, since it’s either the back of people’s heads I see or… well. I don’t like sitting where people can see what I draw.
I tried remembering this wrestler I created on WWE vs Smackdown 2010. The features I recall being: groomed, angled brows, some jaw, short hair and clean face. I fail on resemblance but feature-wise…

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
And I usually draw individuals ’cause I’m boring so this is the one where we have Rift and one of his girlfriends. Rift and his messy hair.

bored already
This last one is a play with copics. I’ve been toying with the idea of holding an art auction on Gaia so I can get the stuff I want. It’s been a fortnight-long debate. I might just offer pencil/pen sketches since I like doing them more than digital? I need to learn how people draw such clean lines digitally.
